DESIGN WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
DEMO design workshops directly engage students, parents, and teachers in hands-on, challenge focused design projects. Whether its teaching digital 3d modeling, building physical scale models, or designing and making maps that shed new light on the world around us, our workshops teach new skills and provide a structured framework in which to apply and sharpen them.
It is our goal and focus that the skills developed in our workshops are applicable far beyond the time we spend with students in the classroom, community center, or computer lab. We strive to ensure that we are offering real world skills that workshop participants can continue to practice and apply at home, in school, or out in the community!
